It was a great day at Srinagar today, as the Prime Minister's expert group for formulation of plan for creation of Jobs in the ICT sector in J&K interacted with the ICT community, at SKICC, Srinagar.

Among those who were present from the Local ICT companies included, Mr. Jahangir Rana (Chairman ICTA), Mr. Ashfaq Mir (WAPMEER), Mr. Mehraj Gulzar (MIPS Technologies), Mr. Fayaz Bhat (Musky Software Solutions), Mr. Umar (Ageis Call Center)  and  Mr. S. Yasser Kazmi (CEO - Myasa Network Solutions).

The companies  briefed the delegation headed by Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council,  the current challenges faced by the ICT sector and the growth opportunities available for creating more job opportunities in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Recommendations made to the working group by Myasa Network Solutions are filed here as an attachment.

It is to be seen, what concrete steps the Government of India along with the State Government takes, based on the recommendations put forward and how fast.
